Wavemasters finals today!
At Pico das Almas, Cumbuco beach, with a beautiful final heat with Abel Lago and
Jose Luengo, also Miler Morais and Eduardo Schuntz (Br) fighting for a 3rd place.
Results are kept secret until the podium. Same for the women, 3 will share the
podium: Kirsty Jones, Ainhoa Garcia and Kristin Boese.
Another great moment of the day, for riders and the public, is the Course Racing.
Imagine: a beautiful beach, 25 knots wind, coconut trees, a perfect set up, helicopter,
a 1.5km course with upwind and downwind tacks (2 rounds for the men, one for the
ladies), many visitors and the visit of the Governor and the Mayor here on the spot.
